WCSD Board of Education 2000-01 Goals and Action Plans

At its July 24, 2000 meeting, the Wappingers Central School District established the following four goals for the school year. Follow the underlined links for more information about each one.

GOAL 1 WCSD's administration and all members of the teaching staff shall work as a team to continue making measurable improvements in ALL district student outcomes, the Regents tests, the percentage of students receiving high school diplomas, and other State required examinations and/or measures.

GOAL 2 WCSD staff and the Board will continue the exercise of prudent cost-control measures and limit the 2001-02 budget increases to the contingent cap.

GOAL 3 WCSD staff and the Board will address transportation improvements recommended in TAS study issued in January, 1998.

GOAL 4 WCSD staff and the Board will review and improve staff evaluation systems, staff recruitment, and staff retention at all levels of the organization.
