POSTCARDS TO THE PRINCIPAL
SUMMER READING PROGRAM

 

Summer reading is fun!

 

Your Principal would love to know about all the great books you are going to read over the summer. Each time you read a book, please send her/him a postcard with the following information:

 

 

  • Complete Title of the Book

 

  • Author

 

  • Sentence about the book

 

  • Your Full Name (First/Last)

Each student that participates will receive recognition from the Principal when they return to school in the Fall.  

 

Postcards may be mailed or delivered to the school office, or dropped off at your local public library, between June 25 and August 24, 2012. 

 

To help you get started, you may use the recommended summer reading list attached.  The Grinnell, Blodgett and East Fishkill Community Libraries are available to assist you in finding good books to read this summer.
