NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Hello from the PTA. I want to thank all of
you who have joined. If you haven't joined yet, we encourage you
to do so at anytime!
For those of you who came to Family Fun Night, I
hope you had fun. I know I did! This event couldn't have happened
without the great volunteers who stepped up. I REALLY APPRECIATE
ALL OF WHAT YOU DID. If you were not able to come, hopefully you can make
the next one. November is a jam packed month, so write everything
down on your calendars now.
Monday, November 5th is the Benefit Day at Craftsman
by Design (in Poughkeepsie Plaza Mall); this is a great opportunity to
pick up perfect gifts before the holidays and help to raise money
for a 4th grade field trip to Albany. Also, consider our Handmade
Candles by Beacon Lights fundraiser as gifts; scents are available
at the school to sample. Soon you will receive an order form
for spirit wear with a new design. There will be medium sizes hanging
at the school if you're unsure of the size.
If you signed up for Fishkill Plains e-mail distribution
list and are not receiving e-mails, go to the F.P.
website (http://www.wappingersschools.org/Plains/) and unsubscribe,
then RE-subscribe. That should take care of it.
We are in need of BAKERS for a few bake sales coming
up November 7th & 8th. If you still would like to participate
or volunteer for the book fair, contact Nancy Buck(NABuck@frontiernet.net)
or Lisa Ruvo (LRuvo22@aol.com).
I wish everyone a FESTIVE FALL and hope you come
to our next meeting, and/or volunteer for a function in the school.
