Project Lead the Way

!!!!!!!! At the conclusion of this course students are given the opportunity to gain college credit by taking PART C of the final exam. In order to qualify students must carry an overall average of 85% throughout the year and score a 70% or higher on the final. The college credit is $200 and is offered through the Rochester Institute of Technology R I T. ! ! ! ! ! ! !

DESIGN & DRAWING FOR PRODUCTION -DDP

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Design & Drawing for Production course is an introductory course for the Project Lead the Way curriculum.  Upon successful completion of the course the student will be eligible to receive college credit through the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).  The class will introduce the student to design as a process, as they develop several original ideas to solve multiple problems in both individual and group settings.  The student will develop Technical Drafting skills both with a pencil and paper and with the computer as they will be using the AutoDesk Inventor 2010 program.  The student will gain an understanding of Technical Drafting as a useful communication tool.
