Principles of Engineering -POE
!!!!!!!! At the conclusion of this course students are given the opportunity to gain college credit by taking PART C of the final exam. In order to qualify students must carry an overall average of 85% throughout the year and score a 70% or higher on the final. The college credit is $200 and is offered through the Rochester Institute of Technology R I T. ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The 40 week course deals with the practical applications associated with engineering. Students create several projects including:
-Computer Controlled Marble Sorter
-Hydraulic Arm
-Ballistics Device (ping pong ball launcher
-Simple Machines
-Destructive Testing
