Course Description

The 20 week web design course will be taught at Roy C. Ketcham High School and will be available to all enrolled students, ranging from freshman to senior year. Students entering the course should have all been previously exposed to the basic functions of the computer, including keyboarding skills, Internet use and basic Microsoft Office tools.  The course will introduce the student to the many tools that are available to create dynamic web sites.  Students will be instructed with the Adobe Office suite, including Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver.  The intent will be to provide the student with a basic understanding of the programs, so that they may create a final business site at the conclusion of the course. 

Course Requirements

1. A 3-ring binder is required and is for this class only!  This should be brought to class each day
2. A pen or pencil in class each day.
3. Binder should have 4 tab dividers and paper.
4. All work missed must be made up.
5. Participation in all class activities.
6. Follow all internet safety rules.
