Abilities Outcomes
1. Students develop abilities in analysis, inquiry and design.
A.Students engage in inquiry as they attempt to solve the problem of the "mystery" box.
B.Students engage in observing, predicting, describing, comparing, and revising their ideas and
solutions about a variety of investigations
C.Students design experiments based on observing and questioning newt behavior and making bubble
solutions.

2. Students develop math abilities.
A.Students construct tables, charts, and graphs to display data.

3. Students develop communication abilities
A.Students develop communication and cooperative group skills as they discuss and share their
findings and write in their science journals.
