Dear
Parents and Guardians,
Here
we are in the middle of winter and we have already had a couple of school
delays and cancellations. I am sure many
of our students enjoyed the snow days home, but this
weather has made for some difficult driving conditions. Let’s hope we make it through the rest of the
winter safely. It won’t be long until we
see the snow melting away and the bright spring flowers coming up!
Sheafe Road
has been just as busy as always. We have
had some very educational and enjoyable assemblies for the students. In January the Tanglewood
Marionettes were here once again and we also held a Robo
Media Assembly.
Students also had a chance to attend the Storycrafters
Assembly.
This
year our Band and Orchestra held their concert in January. We have such fine budding musicians at Sheafe Road. They put on an excellent performance. Once again, the PTA
hosted our annual Reflections ceremony at the end of January. Many of our students had their artwork
displayed and it was a fantastic opportunity to integrate the arts and the
education of our children. Once again, we held our D.A.R.E. graduation for this
year’s fifth grade students. They have
successfully participated in this beneficial program that has been provided by
the local police department.
In
closing, I would like to thank you all for your continued support of your
children and Sheafe
Road
School. I look forward to the second half of the year
being just as successful as the first half.
Sincerely,
Franco
Miele, Principal
