Dear Parents:
Last month, the district sent out surveys to both school staff and parents. The intent of the surveys was to gather input from both groups. The survey questions posed to parents dealt with their views on:
the learning climate at
our school
whether or not sufficient resources were available here
my role as building administrator and instructional leader
the vision for this school and its relationship to the district’s
vision
my ability to listen to and value parent input regarding their
children’s strengths and weaknesses
beliefs that student achievement can increase through professional
development, computers and other varied technologies, learning
styles, effective parent involvement, partnerships with business,
and student achievement data
the morale of teachers and students
how our staff treats children, the accessibility of staff, clear
academic outcomes for children, work quality expectations, public
image, effective communication.
