Show an interest in your child's school and school work
These days not everyone has the opportunity to volunteer at school but if you can do it! Show your child that it is important. If you can't volunteer show an active interestin what your child is doing. Look through their work, ask questions about what they are doing in school, who are their friends, etc. Praise their work.

READ and encourage Reading reading is a crucial part of your childs curriculum. Encourage your children to read each day. Read to your children and ask questions about what was read. Read yourself and share articles from the newspapers or magazines with your children to peak their interest and see the importance. Read and discuss ingredients of food items.

Everyday Math Have your child help in the kitchen using recipes. When shopping have children help with prices and disounts.
