OUTCOMES

Standard 1.1 BE ABLE TO synthesize oral and written information from various media.

B. Compile information from several written sources to support a thesis.

Standard 1.2 BE ABLE TO ask thought-provoking questions, interpret information in one's own words, and present the information clearly, concisely, and comprehensibly.

A. Write a research paper that documents a minimum of two sources of information using MLA Works Cited and parenthetical documentation format.

C. Revise and improve early drafts by correcting errors and revising for clarity and effect.

D. Use standard English skillfully.

Standard 3.1: BE ABLE TO understand and explain different perspectives on a given topic.

A. Research and compare/contrast viewpoints on relevant issues.
