Greetings Ketcham Nation!

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of regular classes for the 2024-25 school year. As we close out the school year, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of our school community throughout the year.

Last week was a very busy one for our Class of 2025.

Our senior class celebrated at their senior prom at West Point. It is a beautiful venue and we are lucky to be able to hold this annual event there. We hope you all had a magical evening!

Many of our Class of 2025 Seniors traveled Back to the Nest and walked the halls of their elementary schools in caps and gowns. It is a heartwarming tradition that we are glad our students, families and former teachers can take part in.

We also recognized seniors who have received scholarships and awards and celebrated their success and achievements. We know that all of our students have worked hard and we are proud of their accomplishments. If you haven't yet done so, please be sure to sign up to get your Congratulations message on our marquee so our community can wish you well!

Tomorrow is the last day of school. Students who are taking Regents should check the RCK website to confirm their schedules and transportation notes. Seniors should have turned in their Chromebooks. All library books must be returned by tomorrow. Seniors can also complete the Google Takeout to save anything in their student accounts.

We look forward to seeing the Class of 2025 back here on June 26 for graduation rehearsal and the senior class BBQ. Continue to check the RCK website for any updates and graduation announcements. There is still time to order flowers in advance and support our students. Details are on the RCK website.

We know this time of year is full of activity as well as many "lasts". Seniors had final musical performances, final meetings for clubs and groups and several of our students headed to state championships in various sports.  We hope you can join us on June 16 at 4pm as we unveil the new records board for our Track & Field teams. We know that our students, coaches, advisors and families devote so much to making sure Ketcham is full of engaging and fulfilling activities and their hard work pays off!

As always, I am humbled by the wonderful things that happen at our school each day. It is a true honor to serve as your principal and I know that our graduating class will continue to make us proud.

Thank you again for your support this year and always. We are counting down to graduation and celebrating our community at commencement and then soon welcoming our incoming Class of 2029.  As educators, so often we work to inspire students but it turns out that they are the ones inspiring us!

Seniors, take pride in how far you've come. Have faith in how far you will go. And never forget to enjoy the journey!
