A comprehensive program has been put together recognizing the advancements RCK students have made to increase awareness of fullying both within the school and throughout the community. Senator Steve Saland will be on hand to present an update on the Dignity for all Students Act. County Executive Marcus Molinaro will be attending and Jody Miller, Executive Director of the Mediation Center of Dutchess County will present tips to parents on talking to their children about bullying. Mr. Wood's (RCK Teacher) Broadcast Arts students who started a "Delete Cyberbullying" campaign with video Public Service Announcements was the beginning! That project gres through Character Education into a Peer Mentoring program for RCK freshmen. Recognized through Cablevision's Power to Learn initiative and a news story from WPIX11, the students were invited to interview state legislators in Albany and they presented their work to the Dutchess County Legislature. Hearing their story will be the higlight of the evening! Please join us!
