Wappingers CSD staff and parents/guardians do NOT need to sign up for this group.
But if you’re a community member, caregiver, or business owner who would like to be notified when we have a closing, delay, or early dismissal: Join our Community Group! The District sends closing and delay notifications at approximately 5:00 AM.
In the event of a delay or closing, our web pages will display an alert message.
We will also send this information to staff and families via ParentSquare: view our Quick Guide to Managing Your Account Settings, and Find a Full Overview of Managing Notifications here.

Make-Up/Give-back Days 2026-27
Four emergency days are built into the calendar.
If fewer than four emergency days are used, the give-back days will be:
0 days used: March 30, May 25, May 26, May 27
1 day used: March 30, May 26, May 27
2 days used: March 30, May 27
3 days used: May 27
4 days used: None
If more days are needed, the make-up days will be:
1st day: May 28
2nd day: March 29
3rd day: March 22
4th day: March 23
