DRIVER EDUCATION
FALL 2025 DRIVER ED PROGRAMS
RCK Driver Ed Students: There will be a mandatory lecture on FRIDAY, 12/5 in room 191 from 2:30-4:00 pm. This is the lecture that takes the place of the canceled lecture from this past Tuesday’s snow day.
Registration for the Winter/Spring session of Driver Ed will open up the week of December 15th.
5-HOUR PRE-LICENSING COURSE
We no longer offer the 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course. You can check Dutchess School of Driving, Dutchess Community College or Arlington Continuing Ed to see if they have classes scheduled.
HIGH SCHOOL PARKING PERMITS
If you are looking for information about parking permits to park at the high school, please call the high school's main office. The Driver Ed department does not handle high school parking permits.

WEATHER POLICY
In the case of inclement weather, when after-school activities are canceled for Wappingers Central School District, then all driving sessions and lecture classes are canceled as well. If evening activities are canceled, lecture classes will still be held. Additionally, some driving lessons will also still be held. Contact your driving instructor to confirm your driving if evening activities are canceled for the district.
