DRIVER ED PROGRAM OVERVIEW
We offer the NYS Driver Ed program 4 times per year – in the fall, the winter/spring and two summer sessions.

The fall and winter/spring sessions take place during the school year and classes and driving lessons are held after school. These programs are 16 weeks long, and the student has a 3-hour per week committment – 1 ½ hours in lecture each week and 1 ½ hours in the car each week. 

The summer sessions take place after the school year ends. These programs are approximately 16 days long and the student has a 3-hour per day committment – 1 ½ hours in lecture class each day and 1 ½ hours in the car each day. 

The cost of the program is $700 per student. Due to the nature of the program, there are no scholarships and there are no sibling discounts. 

Fall session: begins in mid-September and runs through the end of January. Registration usually opens in mid-late August
Winter/Spring session: begins in February and runs through early June. Registration usually opens in late November/early December
Summer session 1: usually begins right after school ends in late June and runs approximately 3 weeks until the middle of July. Registration usually opens in early May.
Summer session 2: usually begins around the 3^rd week in July and runs approximately 3 weeks until the second week or so of August. Registration usually opens in early May.
