ANNOUNCEMENTS
Current/Spring Driver Ed students: The optional 17th lecture class will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, from 3:45-4:15 pm @ John Jay HS.
This is the class that a student can use to make up for one lecture absence during the Winter/Spring session. Specific details and the procedure for attending this class has been emailed to all parents & students, as well as been announced in the lecture classes by the the lecture instructors. This class if for both RCK and JJ students. If you have no lecture absences, you do not need to attend this class.
SUMMER 2026 DRIVER ED PROGRAMS
Registration for the summer programs is now open. Please click on the links below for complete program information and to register.
Please be sure to also click on the calendars for each session prior to registering to make sure you can attend all classes in that session.
This is a first-come, first-serve program and SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.
***Out-of-district students SHOULD NOT REGISTER for this program. If you are an out-of-district student who wants to attend, please call the Driver Ed office at 298-5000 ext. 40137 to be added to the wait list. Once all WCSD students have been given priority, if there are still spaces left, you will be contacte and then allowed to register.

Location: Ketcham H.S. Annex, 99 Myers Corners Road, Wappingers Falls. The office is located in the blue building to the left of Ketcham HS.

WEATHER POLICY
In the case of inclement weather, when after-school activities are canceled for Wappingers Central School District, then all driving sessions and lecture classes are canceled as well. If evening activities are canceled, lecture classes will still be held. Additionally, some driving lessons will also still be held. Contact your driving instructor to confirm your driving if evening activities are canceled for the district.
HIGH SCHOOL PARKING PERMITS
If you are looking for information about parking permits to park at the high school, please call the high school's main office. The Driver Ed department does not handle high school parking permits.
