Tryouts: WJHS Modified

  • Tryouts starting 3/16 after school at WJHS

  • Tryout information for Monday, 3/16 as of now- please read carefully!

    Location: WJHS GYM
    2:30-3:15pm will be 7th graders only- HAVE A RIDE ARRANGED FOR 3:15PM
    3:15-4pm will be 8th graders only- HAVE A RIDE ARRANGED FOR 4PM
    -8th graders will be chaperoned in the auditorium while 7th grade is using the gym

    IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD ENOUGH, ALL PLAYERS WILL BE TRYING OUT OUTSIDE AT WJHS FROM 2:30-4pm


    *I WILL NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL THE MORNING OF- I WILL TRY TO LET EVERYONE KNOW ASAP BUT IT MIGHT BE DURING THE FIRST FEW PERIODS OF SCHOOL*

    BRING PROPER OUTSIDE EQUIPMENT, WE POTENTIALLY MIGHT BE GOING OUTSIDE IF THE WEATHER ALLOWS US

    -There are no late busses Monday
    -Bring your equipment into the gym before 1st period to be stored throughout the day
    -Tryout information for Tuesday 3/17 :

    Tryouts for Tuesday, 3/17 will be at RCK from 2:45-4:30pm- for all players

    There will be a bus to bring players to RCK at dismissal.

    Tryouts for Wednesday, 3/18

    Will be at WJHS outside from 2:30-4pm for all players.

    There is a late bus or please have a ride at 4


    -Baseball pants are encouraged
    -No metal cleats

    THERE IS NO BUS BACK TO WJHS- PLAYERS MUST HAVE A RIDE ARRANGED AT RCK 4:30PM SHARP !!!

    2026 Modified Softball Spring Tryout Schedule 

    Tuesday, March 17th

    • All players 
    • Time: 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM

    Wednesday, March 18th

    • All players
    • Time: 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM

    Thursday, March 19th

    • All players
    • Time: 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM
    • The first round of cuts will be posted on Google Classroom by student ID number

    Monday, March 23rd

    • All remaining players
    • Time: 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM

    Tuesday, March 24th

    • All remaining players
    • Time: 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM
    • Final Day of Tryouts

    Important Note:

    *Final cuts will be made at the end of tryouts on Tuesday, March 24th

    Additional Information:

    • Please arrive on time and be ready to start at 2:45 PM each day
    • Please tell your parents/guardians that you will need to be picked up
    • Bring appropriate clothing and gear for tryouts (cleats and sneakers in preparation for indoor tryouts and warm clothes when outside)
